Autoglass® Ireland Holdings Ltd is recruiting a Vehicle Glazier for our premises at unit g9g Calmount business park, ballymount, Dublin, Ireland, D12V3W4. The salary range starts from €30,000 (€14.42/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. The role of a Vehicle Glazier at Autoglass® Ireland involves skilled repair and replacement of vehicle glass to the highest standards, utilizing industry-leading technology and tools. As part of our team, you will perform precise glass fitting and recalibration services, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Working in our modern depots or at customer locations, you will be engaged in various tasks from on-site repairs at customer premises to detailed replacements in our workshops. The environment is dynamic, often involving collaboration with customer service and technical teams to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include removing damaged glass, installing new glass securely, and calibrating sensors such as ADAS. You will handle specialized tools, adhere to safety and quality standards, and maintain thorough documentation of your work. Travel to customer sites is often required, and you will be expected to manage your daily schedule independently. Training opportunities are provided to enhance your skills, especially in ADAS recalibration and advanced glass fitting techniques. The role offers career progression into senior technician or supervisory positions, with ongoing professional development. Key responsibilities include: - Carefully removing damaged vehicle glass using appropriate tools - Fitting and sealing new glass to manufacturer specifications - Performing sensor calibration for ADAS-equipped vehicles - Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards - Maintaining accurate work records and logs - Collaborating with dispatch and customer service teams for scheduling - Providing excellent customer service in customer locations or on-site - Maintaining clean and safe workshop and work areas - Operating and maintaining specialized diagnostic and fitting equipment - Assisting in parts ordering and inventory management - Complying with all company policies and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have: - Full clean international driving license (Class B) - Prior experience in vehicle glass replacement or related trade (preferred) - Basic understanding of vehicle safety standards - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good manual dexterity and attention to detail - Strong organizational and communication skills - Willingness to undertake training in ADAS and new technologies - Physical fitness for manual handling tasks - Flexibility to work irregular hours if needed. Additional benefits include assistance with finding accommodation and company-provided training. Overtime may be available and is paid at standard rates. This is a full-time, permanent role starting from September 2025, with a 24-month contractual period. The position offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, starting at €30,000 annually, with potential increases for additional hours and expertise.
