Request Account Deletion
To delete your account and associated personal data, please contact us using the email address associated with your account:
privacy@recruitroo.comInclude "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.
How to Request Deletion
Candidate Accounts
If you have a candidate profile (job seeker account):
- Email privacy@recruitroo.com from your registered email
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject
- We will verify your identity and process within 30 days
Employer / Company Accounts
If you have an employer or company account:
- Email privacy@recruitroo.com from your company email
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject
- Cancel any active subscription before requesting deletion
- We will verify your identity and process within 30 days
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
- •Your account and login access will be permanently disabled.
- •Personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 60 days, in line with our data retention policy.
- •Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g. financial records for 7 years, immigration documentation for 6 years).
- •Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Consider exporting any data you need before requesting deletion.
Alternative: In-App Deletion
If you are logged in, you may also request account deletion through:
- Employers: Settings → Account → Delete Account (company.recruitroo.com)
- Candidates: Settings → Account → Delete Account (candidate.recruitroo.com)
