Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light commercial vehicles to ensure they meet all safety and regulatory standards. Our fleet also includes heavy goods vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate mechanic committed to quality workmanship.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with light commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in vehicle repair. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Relevant mechanical certifications or trade qualifications.
 

Main Functions:

Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues in light commercial vehicles. Complete vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and engine repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine maintenance checks and services to prevent future vehicle issues. Collaborate with a team to complete jobs efficiently and within designated timelines. Maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed. Stay updated with advancements in vehicle diagnostics and technology.
