Construction Demo is recruiting an Electrician for our premises at 19 Lower Baggot Street, monkstown, Ireland. The salary range starts from €70,000 (€33.65/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Electricians play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across diverse environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Their main purpose is to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The work involves reading technical diagrams, running cables, connecting circuits, testing equipment, and troubleshooting electrical faults. They often work on new construction projects, refurbishments, or maintenance tasks, requiring a blend of technical expertise and practical skills. Work environments are varied — from busy construction sites to maintenance workshops — and often involve working in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor conditions. Electricians use a range of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear, adhering to strict health and safety protocols. They may also be required to travel between multiple sites, sometimes across different regions or sectors such as renewable energy, industrial controls, or domestic wiring. Training is ongoing; electricians must stay updated with the latest amendments to safety standards and electrical codes.
