We are a well-established manufacturing company specializing in high-quality dairy equipment, and we are looking for a skilled welder to join our team. The salary range starts from €34,000 (€17.44/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Our Welder role involves working in our manufacturing facility where you will be responsible for welding various components used in dairy equipment production. You will work in a clean and safety-focused environment, utilizing modern welding equipment such as MIG and TIG welders. The work involves reading detailed technical drawings, ensuring precise welds, and adhering to strict quality control standards. Occasionally, travel to client sites or other company premises may be required for installations and repairs. Work conditions include a standard 39-hour workweek, with potential overtime. Training on equipment use and safety procedures is provided, and there are opportunities for career progression into supervisory or specialist roles. **Responsibilities:** - Weld and assemble parts as per technical drawings - Ensure welds meet quality standards and safety regulations - Maintain and calibrate welding equipment regularly - Keep detailed records of work performed, including inspections and tests - Follow health and safety protocols at all times - Assist in troubleshooting welding issues and perform repairs - Coordinate with fabrication team to meet production deadlines - Participate in safety training sessions and continuous improvement programs - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Comply with all environmental and safety regulations **Key Requirements:** - Valid Safe Pass certification - Manual Handling certification (if applicable) - Experience in MIG and TIG welding (preferred) - Knowledge of machinery used in manufacturing plants - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Attention to detail and high standards for quality - Flexibility to work overtime and possibly weekends - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team - Physical fitness suitable for manual handling tasks - Familiarity with health and safety regulations in manufacturing **Additional Information:** Overtime rates are applicable for hours beyond the standard 39-hour week.
