The salary range starts from €40,000 (€20.52/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your primary responsibility is to support licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. You will be involved in preparing and labeling prescriptions, managing stock inventories, and assisting with patient queries in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Your role will include maintaining precise records for regulatory compliance and ensuring patient safety.
The work environment is a community pharmacy setting that values professionalism, accuracy, and customer service. Key requirements:
- Valid registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)

- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Competency with pharmacy management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with electronic health records
