This role is central to our manufacturing operations, focusing on manual and equipment-based tasks essential for producing high-quality garden sheds and outdoor structures. The salary range starts from €34,000 (€16.77/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. As a key member of our team, your daily responsibilities will include manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling materials. You will operate machinery like forklifts and power tools, ensuring efficiency and safety in all tasks. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace is an integral part of your routine, alongside following detailed instructions from supervisors and technical drawings. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines is mandatory to ensure a secure working environment. The work environment is dynamic and physically demanding, requiring good physical fitness and safety awareness. You will use tools and equipment supplied by the company, including forklifts, hand tools, and power equipment. Occasional travel or transportation duties may involve operating a fleet of 3.5 tonne trucks, for which a valid driving license is preferred. Training will be provided on equipment operation, safety protocols, and company procedures. There are opportunities for career progression into supervisory or technical roles as part of our ongoing development programs. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and assembling materials on-site. - Operate machinery including forklifts and power tools to support manufacturing processes. - Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the work area. - Follow technical drawings, instructions, and safety regulations precisely. - Assist in the installation and packaging of products. - Keep accurate logs of work, equipment use, and any vehicle movements. - Ensure all loads are secured correctly and comply with legal weight limits during transport. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks. - Perform vehicle checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment. - Drive 3.5 tonne trucks as required, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards. **Key Requirements:** - Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certification (Irish Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate). - A minimum of 1 year experience in manual labor, construction, or manufacturing industries (preferred). - Good knowledge of health and safety procedures. - Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment (training provided if necessary). - Valid driving license Class B for operating trucks. - Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions. - Capable of working flexible hours, including occasional weekend or night shifts. - Physically fit to handle manual handling tasks involved in the role. - Basic understanding of manufacturing or construction safety regulations. **Additional Information:** Overtime may be available and paid accordingly.
