ERAM Contracting Co. is recruiting an Engineer for our premises at Al-Khobar, Ballinlough, Saudi Arabia. The salary range starts from €67,308 (€16.77/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. The Engineer role is vital in ensuring our machinery and mechanical systems operate smoothly and efficiently. The main purpose of this position is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment used across our facilities. The engineer will be responsible for aligning, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing machinery, as well as installing new machinery commissioned by the company. This role involves routine maintenance tasks, emergency repairs, and participating in safety meetings to comply with relevant legislation. The environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and technical expertise. The technician will work with various tools and diagnostic equipment to diagnose faults and implement effective repairs. Safety is a priority, and staff are expected to follow strict health and safety protocols. The daily activities include conducting regular inspections, maintaining spare parts inventory, and executing repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The engineer may be required to travel to different sites as needed, and occasional overtime might be necessary to meet project deadlines. Training will be provided on specific machinery and safety procedures. There are also opportunities for career growth within the company, including supervisory or specialist roles. Key responsibilities include: - Aligning, inspecting, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery - Installing new equipment and commissioning machinery - Preparing spare parts for routine maintenance and emergencies - Participating in safety meetings and maintaining compliance with safety standards - Conducting troubleshooting on mechanical faults and resolving issues promptly - Managing routine maintenance schedules and emergency repairs - Keeping accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities - Ensuring work complies with health and safety laws and environmental regulations - Assisting in the development of maintenance procedures and documentation - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance operations.
