West Side Construction is recruiting a Construction Site Manager for our premises at 27 Old Gloucester Street, Gloucester, United Kingdom. The salary range starts from £2,443 (£15/hr) based on an 8-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. The Construction Site Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing construction site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. These professionals are responsible for managing workforce, coordinating with suppliers, and liaising with clients and contractors. The work environment involves outdoor construction sites, often exposed to various weather conditions, requiring robust safety practices and compliance with UK health and safety regulations. Equipment and tools used include site monitoring devices, safety gear, project management software, and communication devices. Travel to multiple site locations within the UK may be required, especially if managing multiple projects or visiting suppliers and subcontractors. The position may involve occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines. Training is provided in safety procedures, site management systems, and relevant UK construction standards.
