28 is recruiting a Maintenance Facilities Fitter for our premises at 123 Northumberland Row, Ballinlough, Dublin 4, Ireland. The salary range starts from €62,115 (€23.44/hr) based on a 42-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
As a Maintenance Facilities Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of technical and mechanical systems within our facilities. Your daily activities will include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely. The work environment involves working in a busy industrial or commercial setting with a focus on safety and compliance with regulations.
You will utilize various tools and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance management software. Occasionally, travel may be required to other company sites or supplier locations. The role might involve shift work, including nights or weekends, depending on operational needs. We provide comprehensive training on our specific systems, safety procedures, and maintenance protocols. **Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot systems and implement timely repair solutions.

**Key Requirements:**

- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours if required.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Driving license (preferred) for site visits.
