[Company Name] is recruiting a Ventilation Ductwork Installer for our premises at A, Longford, Ireland.
The salary range starts from €40,330 (€19.68/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
As a Ventilation Ductwork Installer, your main purpose is to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation systems across various sites. You will work within a team of skilled technicians, using specialized tools such as duct cutters, crimpers, and measuring equipment to deliver high-quality workmanship. The work environment primarily involves onsite installation at construction sites, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. You may be required to travel between multiple sites, sometimes involving overnight stays.
Your daily activities will include fitting ductwork according to technical drawings, connecting ventilation units, and testing airflow and system performance. You will work in conditions that may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Safety is paramount, so adherence to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE, such as helmets, gloves, and safety boots, is mandatory. The role involves using power tools, hand tools, and measuring devices to ensure precision and compliance with standards.
The position may include shift work, with some evening and weekend hours depending on project requirements. Training will be provided on company-specific systems and safety procedures. **Responsibilities:**
- Install ventilation duct systems as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Connect and test ventilation units to ensure proper airflow.

**Key Requirements:**
- Valid Category B (car) driver’s license.

- Physical fitness to perform manual handling and installation tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
