Motor Vehicle Technician

TIDY MECHANICAL REPAIRS LIMITED is recruiting multiple Motor Vehicle Technicians for their premises at Ballycurreen Industrial Estate, Kinsale Road, Cork.

The salary range starts from €36,605 to €56,000 based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.

Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking repairs on accident damaged vehicles, follow repair instructions, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise. The Technician must have excellent problem-solving skills, work well with others, be able to work independently, and have a strong knowledge of general repairs.

Responsibilities: Assess damage & carry out repairs to a high standard. Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment. Notify foreman or office of any issues encountered with jobs Keeping on top of house maintenance Updating job packs on vehicles being worked on Being accountable for own work Work to set deadlines & perform under pressure.

Required Qualifications: Certified Technician. Experience with diagnostic systems. In-depth understanding of wiring diagrams. Analytical approach to guided fault finding. Passion for the identification and repair of complex technical concerns. Post-qualification experience with a main dealer would be an advantage.
