Arcona Developments requires multiple Scaffolder roles for their premises at Crowsgrove, Kildavin, Enniscorthy.

The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Job Description: Arcona Developments is recruiting two experienced Scaffolders to join its construction team on residential projects in the southeast of Ireland. One vacancy is for a lead scaffolder and one for a support scaffolder. Candidates will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding systems (Cuplock, Kwikstage, tube & fitting and independent systems), ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures. The role requires practical site experience, a strong safety focus, the ability to work at height and in all weather conditions, and good communication and teamwork skills. The lead scaffolder role requires stronger English language skills and leadership on site. Successful applicants will work under the direction of the Site Foreman and follow RAMS, company safety policies, and Irish construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities: Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding systems including Cuplock, Kwikstage, tube & fitting and independent scaffolds; install scaffolding in accordance with design specifications and safety regulations; carry out regular inspections of scaffolding structures and report defects or hazards; work with site management and other trades to provide safe access and fall protection solutions; adhere to Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) and site-specific safety procedures; comply with company Health & Safety policies and Irish construction safety requirements; maintain a clean and safe work environment; assist with loading, unloading and organising scaffolding materials and equipment on site; support the lead scaffolder or supervise as required for the lead role.

Requirements: Essential: Valid Safe Pass (Ireland); Manual Handling certification; proven experience working as a scaffolder on construction sites; strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and safe erection practices; ability and willingness to work at height and in physically demanding outdoor conditions; strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Desirable: CISRS Scaffolding Card (Part 1 / Part 2 / Advanced); Working at Heights certification; experience on residential housing developments and apartment schemes; full clean driving licence (a company van will be provided); ability to read drawings and scaffold plans. Personal attributes: reliable, safety conscious, strong work ethic, good communication and teamwork skills (lead scaffolder must have good English), flexible and able to adapt to site requirements.
