Europlan is recruiting a Document Controller for our premises at PND Makati Center, Makati, Ireland. This role involves managing, organizing, and controlling engineering documentation across multiple projects within our design office. The salary range starts from €22,000 (€8.46/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. The Document Controller plays a vital role in ensuring that all technical documents, drawings, reports, and records are maintained in an efficient, timely, and secure manner. The work environment is dynamic, collaborative, and requires keen attention to detail. The role involves working closely with engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders. The role may involve using advanced document management systems like AutoDesk, and occasional travel for project meetings or site inspections. This position offers training in our document control procedures and opportunities for career advancement within the company. The role is based on a full-time schedule, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. **Responsibilities:** - Control the issuance, receipt, tracking, and archiving of technical documentation including drawings, calculations, and reports. - Maintain an efficient document control system in both digital and physical formats. - Ensure documents adhere to formatting, version control, and approval workflows in line with project and company standards. - Liaise with engineers, designers, and project leads to ensure timely submission and retrieval of documents. - Use and maintain AutoDesk system to store and retrieve documents effectively. - Train and support staff in the correct use of document control systems. - Generate document control reports and logs for management review. - Assist in the management of project documentation lifecycle and ensure compliance with client requirements. - Support quality assurance procedures related to document handling and record keeping. - Participate in project meetings to provide updates on documentation status. - Facilitate the secure and organized transfer of documents to ensure confidentiality. - Regularly review and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Adapt quickly to new document management tools and company standards. - Promote best practices for document control within the organization. - Coordinate with external stakeholders and clients for document submission and approval. **Key Requirements:** - No specific license required but traditional Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications are desirable. - At least 1-2 years of experience in document management or office administration related to engineering or construction projects (preferred). - Good knowledge of document control systems, AutoDesk or similar platforms. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital filing systems. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to engineering and design environments. **Additional Information:** - Overtime is not typically required but may occasionally be available, with additional pay. - The role is primarily during daytime hours, with no night shifts. - Benefits include standard company training and career development opportunities. - This position is suitable for candidates seeking full-time employment in a professional environment. - No accommodation assistance or housing benefits are provided. **Published Date:** 2025-08-01
