HGV Driver

Laffan Concrete Pumps Ltd requires multiple HGV Driver roles for their premises at Ballykillaboy Kilmacow Co. Kilkenny X91 X544.

The salary range starts from €37,544 (18.05/hr) to €42,000 (20.19/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Job Description: Heavy goods vehicle driver: you will be responsible for driving the vehicle to and from job sites in a safe and conscientious manner. Once on site, your main function as a driver is to control the operation of the pump and the output of concrete by directing the boom.

Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and comprehend the operation of a heavy goods vehicle as well as some basic mechanics that may be involved, in order to keep the vehicle in good working condition. A driver must also have good customer-relations skills and the ability to problem-solve under pressure. They should have good communication skills (English language essential) and enjoy working outdoors.
