Kilsaran Precast is recruiting a Carpenter for our premises at Arthurstown, Kill, Co. Kildare. This opportunity is ideal for skilled carpenters with a passion for building and construction within the Irish construction industry.
The salary range starts from €34,000 (€17.44/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.

As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the assembly of formworks, installation of timber frameworks, and finishing work crucial to our projects. Work involves using various power tools and hand-held equipment such as saws, drills, and measuring devices to meet precise specifications."
Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret detailed construction drawings and technical specifications.
2. Cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials for building frameworks.
3. Measure and mark cutting lines accurately to ensure proper fit of components.
4. Install formwork, scaffolding, and temporary structures on-site.
5. Work collaboratively with project managers and other tradespeople to meet deadlines.
6. Maintain safety standards and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
7. Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
8. Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
9. Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper storage.
10. Assist in site preparation and clean-up after work completion.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK or Irish manual handling and safety awareness.
- Relevant experience in carpentry or construction (preferred).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Valid relevant safety certifications or willingness to obtain.
- Flexible approach to working hours including potential early mornings or weekends.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid full driving license is beneficial.
