HGV Diesel Mechanic

Callinan Coaches Limited is looking for multiple HGV Diesel Mechanics for our premises at Kiniska, Claregalway, Co. Galway, H91 YD49

The salary range starts from €34,000 (16.77/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs.

Identify and diagnose mechanical issues.

Repair or replace faulty parts and components.

Perform safety checks and inspections.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment when required.

Maintain accurate records of work completed.

Follow health and safety procedures in the workshop

Requirements:

Good mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic understanding of vehicle electrical and hydraulic systems.

Good attention to detail and safety awareness.

Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
