Recruitroo - Data Deletion

This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated data for the Recruitroo mobile application, developed by Recruitroo.

How to Request Account Deletion
We provide two methods for you to request account and data deletion:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
Open the Recruitroo app on your device.Navigate to the 'Settings' or 'Profile' section.Tap on 'Account Settings'.Select the 'Delete Account' option.Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion. Your account will be scheduled for deletion upon confirmation.

Method 2: Email RequestIf you are unable to access the app, you can send an email to our support team to request deletion.Compose an email to support@recruitroo.com.Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".In the body of the email, please include the following information to help us identify your account:Your username or user ID.The email address associated with your account.Any other relevant identifying information.Our team will process your request and send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. This process typically takes [e.g., 7-14 business days].

Data Deletion Policy
When you request the deletion of your account, we are committed to deleting your personal data in a secure and timely manner.
What data is permanently deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data associated with your account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted:Profile Information: Your username, email address, profile picture, resume/CV data, and any other personal details you provided.
User-Generated Content: Any job applications, saved jobs, messages, or other content you have created or uploaded within the app.
Activity and Usage Data: App activity logs, session history, preferences, and interactions linked directly to your account.
Login and Authentication Data: Credentials and social login connections.
What data may be retained?For legal, security, or essential business purposes, we may need to retain certain data for a limited period. This data is anonymized or aggregated wherever possible.
Transactional Records: If applicable, purchase history or subscription records may be retained for financial auditing and legal compliance for a period of [e.g., 7 years]. This data will be disassociated from your personal profile.
Anonymized Analytics: We may retain aggregated, non-personally identifiable usage data for the purpose of improving our services. This data cannot be traced back to any individual user.
Support Communications: Copies of support requests you have sent us may be kept for quality assurance and training purposes.Any retained data is subject to strict security measures and will only be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, after which it will be securely destroyed.
